FAQ

- I have official translation(s) of my documents from my country, but they have not been translated by a NAATI certified translator. Will these be acceptable in Australia?

No. In Australia, usually your documents need to have been translated by a NAATI Certified Translator. NAATI stands for, National Accreditations Authority for Translators and Interpreters. NAATI is the national standards and certifying authority for translators and interpreters in Australia. It is the only organisation to issue certification to practitioners who wish to work in this profession in Australia.

- I have a document to translate. What do I need to do?

Please click on the tab "Translation Steps" of this website. The process is fully explained there. Also be sure to send us clear scanned copies of your documents, and the correct spelling of all names according to your passport and/or immigration documents to ensure consistency.

- I have a document to translate. How much does it cost to translate it? and how long will it take?

The cost will depend on the number of words and the complexity of the translation. You need to send us clear scanned copies of your document(s) (preferably colour scanned copies). We'll see your document(s) and assess the amount of work required and will give you a quote and an estimate of the completion/due date. At the present time, the minimum cost for any translation is $40, and we try to provide as rapid and prompt a response as possible.

- Are you a NAATI certified Translator?

Yes. My NAATI practioner ID# is CPN9SI66X, and my NAATI Number is: 79391. My name is registered on the NAATI website: www.naati.com.au

and my details can be checked there.

- Are your translations confidential?
